Transitioning to High School

To ease the transition into high school, grade 8 students are given many opportunities to experience what grade 9 in high school is like. Students participate in discussions about high school courses, take tours of the local high schools, and even participate in some high school class activities for some of the elective classes. Students often feel more confident and excited about entering into high school after several pathways visits.
